DESCRIPTION:ITMS-M is the modeling module of the ITMS phase 1 project. It a
 ims to build a data assimilation system capable of combining and using the
  further increasing power of atmospheric observations from ground and spac
 e\, high spatiotemporal resolution bottom-up flux modelling\, and high res
 olution atmospheric (inverse) modelling for monitoring and documenting GHG
  sources and sinks\, thereby matching user requirements and allowing the i
 mplementation of an independent Monitoring\, Reporting\, and Verification 
 (MRV) system for GHG emissions from diffuse sources\, e.g. agricultural ac
 tivities. In the Deutscher Wetterdienst in Offenbach\, the first physical 
 meeting is planned where all its partnering institutions will meet and exc
 hange with each other.
