Visiting PhD student in BAIE
I went to school at University of Turin, Department of Life Sciences and Systems Biology, for both my bachelors and masters in Environmental Biology. In my master thesis I studied the impact of sky-pistes on forest small-mammals . After working as a scholarship holder, I began my Ph.D. in plant ecology. The PhD will deal with phenology modelling particularly in hazel.
My research interest is in vegetative and reproductive phenology of plants, in particular early flowering species, and the analysis of the main driving environmental factors which can influence the developement of the plants.
I'm working with Mirco Migliavacca on the elaboration of my data coming from different places in the world. The goal is to test phenological models in order to highlight the response of the hazel flowering to diffent environmental conditions.
