Research Interests:

My research interest lies in the systematic confrontation of models with observations to improve our knowledge on the global carbon cycle. Assimilating different kind of observations into a global model of the carbon-cycle requires the use of a specialised modelling framework. My main work consists of building and applying such a framework and I am particularly interested in assessing the capabilities of a Carbon Cycle Data Assimilation System (CCDAS) to constrain the global carbon cycle and to use this framework to help improve Earth System Models.
