Professional background

Diploma in Mathematics, Friedrich Schiller University Jena, 1979

My work at BGI

In November 1998 I started my work as a programmer in the Biogeochemical cycles group. I am working with different kinds of data and have a lot of experience with preparing data for model simulations, running model simulations and afterwards analysis of the output data from the simulations.

I'm responsible for ordering and organizing the hardware for the department (incl. laptop, screens, cables, adapters, ...).

Besides I'm in charge for the inventory of all the hardware devices, especially the mobile devices (BGC Mobile-DB).
