My PhD thesis aims to develop a specific method to identify mulberry on remote sensing image and assess the carbon fixation potencial of mulberry by comparing with other vegetation types.To assess the carbon fixation potencial of different vegetation types, the gross primary productivity is selected as the indicator.My work at BGI will focus on the analysis and optimization of different gross primary productivity models using data assimilation strategies.
