Research Interest:
I am interested in Environmental & Climate change related research. My specific research interests are:
- Applications of Machine & Deep Learning in Environmental/Climate sciences
- Environmental Remote Sensing
- Environmental Modelling
- Data Science
- Scientific Programming
Current Research:
In my current research, I aim to combine deep learning models with physical models using different Earth observation data. This combination of deep learning and physics based models is called hybrid modelling. With this approach, we aim to develop a global model of (coupled) water and carbon cycles. This research also aims to quantify the uncertainties that exist in the hybrid model.
