  • Process-based ecosystem modeling: Analysis of process formulations, automatic differentiation
  • Atmospheric transport of trace gases: Spatio-temporal analysis and inversion

  • CARBONFLUX: ESA project to assimilate Earth observation products of the biosphere (FAPAR), hydrosphere (Soil moisture) and atmosphere (XCO2) into global biosphere models
