Seminar: Michal Galkowski

With the upcoming generation of satellites, one of the hopes is that we will be able to independently verify the anthropogenic emissions of CO2 accross the globe, using the enhancements measured immediately downwind from the point sources to infer the fluxes. In the presentation, I will be discussing the how the atmospheric turbulence may significantly limit our ability to infer those emissions precisely, if not taken into the account in the applied methodologies.
