Being from a multidisciplinary academic background I developed my interest in processes and interactions within the Earth system among which land-atmosphere interaction is fascinating. My Ph.D. research work is focussed on understanding the relationship between surface meteorological variables, specially temperatures and surface energy balance partitioning at sub-daily to diurnal scale. For instance,
In order to find answers to these interesting questions, I use local and global data, for example, FLUXNET and ERA5, and develope simplified model and expressions based on surface energy balance.
For my research stay I worked on evaporation and boundary layer model in collaboration with Boston University
I use MATLAB, CDO and R programming language for analysing and visualising the data
