Main Focus
My interest lies in modelling interactions across components of the Earth System, that are relevant to understanding and predicting global change. These include interactions between terrestrial vegetation, clouds, and aerosols.
In the work of my PhD, I focus on the interactions between clouds and fluxes of energy and water at the land surface. The main tool utilized to study them are global Earth System Models, which are applied in idealized and counterfactual simulations.
