Main Focus
Conducts research in Forest Sciences, with an emphasis on Ecology and Forest Management. In forest management, focuses on growth modeling of timber species. In ecology, investigates wood functional traits to understand the vulnerability of Amazonian tree species to climate change. Currently, research centers on tree-ring width and isotopic signatures to study the CO₂ fertilization effect and how rising CO₂ levels impact tree productivity and drought resilience, using High-Performance Computing (HPC) clusters.
