Research Focus:
Having been a PhD researcher at the MPI-BGC Signals, I conduct a research project in collaboration with the Research Project of VERIFY (funded by the European Commission, H2020). The goal is to develop a pre-operational inverse system to quantify CO2 flux budgets over Europe at continental and national scales based on independent verification using a top-down method, by the means of the Paris Climate Agreement. I use Jena Carboscope Regional inversion system (CSR) (Rödenbeck, 2005) to optimize the Net Ecosystem Exchaneg (NEE) using atmospheric data based on Bayesian inference.
Research Interests:
- Inverse modeling of greenhouse gas budgets (GHGs) in the mesoscales.
- Atmospheric Physics and climate system
- Understanding the interaction between the biosphere and the atmosphere under the changing climate
- Troposphere retrievals using satellite remote sensing monitoring
- DATA processing and visalisation using R programming
Research Activities:
- Develepment of a pre-operational inverse system at regional scales to quantify GHGs budget
- Reporting deliverables to the research Project on annual basis
- Writing publications and contributing datasets to the Peer-reviewed journals
