A warm welcome to Iryna Klimkina. The Ukranian scientist will have her base at the Bergakademie Freiberg, but will collaborate closely with us.
Congratulations to Shane Stone to successfully defening his PhD thesis recently!

January 2023: 
We welcome two new employees to the department. Chenna Sun starts her PhD research with Jianbei Huang, and Alina Churiulina supports Gerd Gleixner's group as a technical assistant.

November 2022:
Gerd Glexiner's group gets another new member with doctoral student Agata Garsia. Welcome, Agata!

October 2022:
Chen Huang is a new PhD student in the group of Gerd Gleixner. Welcome!
Rachael Akinyede has successfully defended her PhD thesis. Congratulations!

Welcome to Antje Uhde, a new PhD student in collaborarion with the Department of Geography at the University Jena, Jessica Finck, a new PhD student in the Molecular Biogeochemistry Group, and Hella van Asperen, who just started as a new PostDoc in the department as part of the ATTO project.
