Main Focus
My PhD focuses on the understanding of tropical ecosystems and climate interactions using remote sensing and data based models. For this, I take advantage of big data analytics, time series and dimensionalilty reduction analysis at aiming to extract seasonal and inter annual ecosystem dynamics. Previously, I have worked on the assessment of biodiverstity at multiple scales, and wetlands research at national level using remote sensing and ground data.
