Main Focus

My research interests include forest monitoring with remote sensing data, mainly microwave satellites, and retrieval of hydrological parameters to answer research questions in the area of tree mortality and forest resilience in climate change. I am currently conducting a series of field measurements of tree hydraulic parameters in temperate forests (sap flow and dendrometer) to investigate the effects of drought on microwave signals along with electromagnetic attenuation measurements.
