1st General Assembly of the "Integrated Greenhouse Gas Monitoring System for Germany (ITMS)"
The development of the BMBF-funded integrated greenhouse gas monitoring system for Germany, "Integriertes Treibhausgas-Monitoringsystem für Deutschland" (ITMS), will enable the operational monitoring of the sources and sinks of the three most important long-lived greenhouse gases CO2, CH4, N2O. To do so, the greenhouse gas monitoring system combines independent atmospheric concentration measurements with atmospheric transport models and available emission information.
