Main Focus

My research focuses on role of wetlands on the feedback processes between Arctic permafrost carbon and climate change. This includes:

  • field measurements of CO2 and CH4 fluxes from the Arctic wetlands with closed-chamber method
  • optimising the classification scheme of Arctic wetlands to better reflect these ecosystems in climate models
