Main Focus

My research focusses on greenhouse gas flux measurements from different ecosystems, e.g., Northern peatlands, temperate and boreal forests. Within Q-ARCTIC, I aim to explore spatial and temporal patterns of CO2, CH4, and N2O fluxes accross different microhabitats and within different seasons in the Arctic. I will further investigate how various disturbances caused by global warming affect these fluxes.
