A rich strategic and scientific program for the Kick-off of the ELLIS Unit Jena was assembled, with high-level representatives from two Thuringian Ministries and the United Nations and from science including A.M. Turing Award Laureate Prof. Yoshua Bengio and President of ELLIS and Frontiers of Knowledge Award winner Prof. Bernhard Schölkopf.
