My main research interests cover explainable artificial intelligence for earth system science, deep learning models, land-atmosphere interaction and hydrometeorological forecast. I am working on identification of valuable information inside the data-driven black-box model which can help better understand the complex processes of land-atmosphere interaction, and further promote the extreme event prediction (droughts, floods, etc).
