Main Focus
My research interests span from soil hydrology and land degradation to extreme weather events and their impact on ecosystems, relying on my skills in spatio-temporal data analysis.
Curriculum Vitae
After a PhD in soil hydrology at UCLouvain (Belgium), I worked at the European Commission Joint Research Centre (Ispra, Italy) working on European hydraulic pedotransfer functions, the World Atlas of Desertification and supporting biodiversity conservation in ACP countries.
Since 2022, I'm working with Fabian Gans on data cube technologies and have been involved in various projects: DeepCube, DeepExtremes, ARCEME, WeatherGenerator. I'm a member of the EarthNet team. Since 2025, I am a MPG Open Science Ambassador.
