Savanna type ecosystems play an important role for the inter-annual variability of the terrestrial carbon sink. This research site focuses on analyses of micrometeological data collected from three co-located eddy covariance flux towers and extensive dataset from remote sensing technique, phenological neasurements, and vegetation survey. This site is maintained collaboratively by an international team with members found in several countries including Germany, Spain, France, Portugal, and Turkey.
