Deutsches Klima Konsortium (DKK)
The Max Planck Institute for Biogeochemistry is member of the German Climate Consortium, a network of renowned German climate research institutions with the mandate to inform society, politicians and the media about current results of climate research and to foster dialogue between these representatives. The DKK was founded in 2008 and is based in Berlin. more

Informationsdienst Wissenschaft (scientific information service) is the news portal for up-to-date information from science and research. It brings together the scientific community and the public by publishing news items and schedules of events from its 1,000 member institutions and by distributing them some 43,000 subscribers, including 9,400 journalists. more

We are a member of the Beutenberg Campus Jena e.V., a registered association. It reflects the respective interests of the institutions assembled on the Beutenberg, a hill near Jena which boasts major research establishments, a couple of start-up centres, and an operating unit providing services. This setup is to ensure that the scientific and technological synergy that has been developed can be utilised by all members of this conglomerate.
