The research coordinator supports the institute management and all employees in various scientific and organisational matters.

• Boards and Committees, e.g. Advisory Board, Institute-internal advisory committee (IC)
• Scientific reports to funding bodies
• Scientific communication, meetings and seminars (seminars & colloquia)
• Scientific publications (library)
• Third-party funding (application and management) & awards
• Service groups & infrastructure
• Technology Transfer
• Press and public relations
• Appointments, BGC-internal structures and organisation
• Cooperation with the General Administration of the Max Planck Society
