PostDoc

Main Focus

I am working as a PostDoc in the EarthNet team and WeatherGenerator project, where we develop a foundation model for the land surface. My main tasks in the project are the developement of data-driven prediction heads and benchmark models for short-term forecasting of land surface temperature. This research concerns the representation of land surface processes from an Earth system perspective and the integration of physical knowledge with data-driven models, as well as their validation.
