Main Focus
My research focus on data-driven ecological modeling, with a keen interest in enhancing the understanding of ecological processes through interpretability and explicability methods. I mainly work on the EarthNet project (https://www.earthnet.tech/), which utilizes satellite data and machine learning methods to predict local vegetation evolution during extreme events such as heat waves and drought. This project contributes to understanding ecosystem responses to environmental changes and offers potential applications in anticipatory actions.
