Main Focus

I am a chemist by trade. I did my PhD at the University of Glasgow specialising in organic geochemistry where I used stable isotope signatures, e.g. 13C/12C and D/H ratios, and biomarkers to reconstruct Icelandic and North Atlantic Holocene climate variability. Now my interests lie in the development of new measurement techniques and applications of light stable isotopes (13C, 2H, 18O and 15N), as well as the standardisation of such measurements.
