Dissemination and science communication are an essential component of applying the knowledge gained from research to real world scenarios. In an increasingly connected world beginning to see an an increase in climate related disasters and impacts, the need to adequately communicate potential risks and expectations for the future to a wider audience continues to grow. When such phenomena impact just about every person on the planet, being able to convey and inform those who may not traditionally understand and pay attention becomes an important skill-set. This was especially salient during the Covid pandemic, as the need to inform was paramount to maintaining public safety and health. Effective narrative visualization combines storytelling and data visualization to convey complex information in a comprehensible and compelling manner
