Curriculum Vitae
He holds a degree in Physics from the Federal University of Pará (2010), a master’s degree (2013), and a Ph.D. (2017) in Climate and Environment from the National Institute for Amazonian Research (INPA), in collaboration with the State University of Amazonas (UEA). He is currently a professor at the Federal University of Western Pará (UFOPA) and is conducting a postdoctoral fellowship at the Max Planck Institute for Biogeochemistry, where he focuses on integrating knowledge of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) with atmospheric turbulence processes. His research interests lie in climatology and micrometeorology, with emphasis on the dynamics of the atmospheric boundary layer and turbulent exchange processes at the forest-atmosphere interface. He is also involved in the ATTO project (Amazon Tall Tower Observatory), which aims to improve understanding of the interactions between the Amazon forest and the atmosphere.
