Results of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) published

The facts in the first volume of the IPCC Sixth Assessment Report, released today, speak for themselves: the atmosphere and ocean have continued to warm over the past decade, snow and ice levels have continued to decline, global sea levels have continued to rise, and greenhouse gas concentrations have continued to increase.
It is clear: man has warmed the climate.

The new report (AR6-WGI) was produced as an elaborate joint project by several scientific experts, including Dr. Sönke Zaehle, director at the Max Planck Institute for Biogeochemistry. The report lays out in a scientifically sound manner that the global community must very quickly and with combined efforts bring emissions of greenhouse gases to zero in the overall balance in order to still meet the Paris climate goals.
