Community Inversion Framework (CIF) is an effort to bring multiple atmospheric inversion schemes under a comprehensive framework which can help researchers to estimate the fluxes of various GHGs and reactive species both at the global and regional scales. This is done by implementing multiple atmospheric transport models, different observation streams and data assimilation approaches currently in use in Europe (Berchet et al., 2021). The talk will be dedicated to introduce the Community Inversion System (CIF) and it's benefits along with showing the first results of CO2 inversions using CIF. The atmospheric inversions were performed inside CIF using the various transport models already implemented inside CIF and the results were compared and analysed. The future plans of the CIF community will also be discussed.
