TRY workshop: Quantifying and scaling global plant trait diversity

The TRY initiative is a global network of vegetation scientists aiming at the development of a global archive of plant traits to promote ecology and biodiversity science and to support the design of a new generation of global vegetation models. The Initiative is headed by MPI-BGC, DIVERSITAS and IGBP. The 5th international workshop will be hosted in Leipzig by the German Centre for Integrative Biodiversity Research (iDiv).
