Aufgabengebiet

Ich bin Doktorandin in der 'Plant Allocation' Gruppe von Henrik Hartmann. Mein Forschungsschwerpunkt liegt auf den Ursachen für die Wirtswahl des Fichtenborkenkäfers Ips typographus. Ich untersuche  flüchtige Substanzen der Fichtenrinde und den Einfluss von Wettereinflüssen (Windwurf, Trockenheit) auf diese Emissionsprofile. Ich versuche herauszufinden, welche Substanzen dem Borkenkäfer als Anhaltspunkte dienen könnten, um gesunde und geschwächte Bäume voneinander zu unterscheiden.
