Head of Fieldexperiments and Instrumentation

Tarek Sebastian El-Madany

Since March 1, we welcome Tarek Sebastian El-Madany as the new head of the Service Group Freiland. Previously, Dr. El-Madany was head of the BAIE research group at the Max Planck Institute for Biogeochemistry - Department of Biogeochemical Integration and led the MANIP experiment. He now replaces our long-time service group leader Olaf Kolle, who will retire next March, after one year of knowledge transfer.
